From Fr. Ross: Holy Week is Near!

We will be soon entering Holy Week. As you know, it begins with Palm Sunday (March 24) and culminates with Easter (March 31). It will be very different for us this year because of the Road to Renewal. However, it shouldn’t take anything away from the central place it has in our Faith Community. It is set apart from other weeks because of what Jesus did during these days, that is, he showed us the extent to which God loves us and gives us the means to open our hearts and lives to receive that love. Wherever we will find ourselves during this Holy Week,  may we all continue to remember that our God, who is our loving Father, truly cares for us and wants to be a part of our lives as we move forward in this journey together.

THE NEW PARISH OFFICE HOURS HAVE CHANGED. THE OFFICE WILL BE OPEN ON MONDAY AND WEDNESDAYS FROM 9:00 AM UNTIL 1:00 PM.  SEE BELOW FOR THE MASS SCHEDULE.

Let us continue to pray for peace in our troubled country and world. Let us also pray for all our brothers and sisters throughout the world who are suffering and going through some terrible things. We pray for them and help them out as we are able.

When we have Mass here at St. Francis, with me or another priest, we will continue to try to Live Stream the Masses. Please be patient. Our Mass here at 8:00 will be celebrated on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. Our weekend Masses will be celebrated on Saturday at 4:00 PM and Sunday at 8:30 AM and 6:00 PM. The Masses are also saved if you would like to view Mass a little later on in the day. At the appropriate time click on “Live Stream Mass” below and then click on the “▹”  which is found in the center of the screen.

Our Facebook Evening Chat around 7:30 PM, Monday to Friday, continues to be a little bright spot in the day. It lasts about 10 minutes or so and finishes off with prayer for all those important intentions that we have. To join us, click on “Evening Chat” above.
